Chocolate Chip Butter Cookies

Hi everyone!!

In this entry, I'm gonna share with y'all a most easy recipe that I ever try so far. It is Chocolate Chip Butter Cookies. Well, this recipe is not just easy to make but also using simple ingredients inside. For this cookies, I have two different recipes to share. But no worries, I guarantee both aren't difficult to make.

First Recipe

Ingredients

125 grams @ ½ cup of unsalted butter
150 grams @ cup of plain flour
40 grams @ ¼ cup of caster sugar
30 grams @ 1 tbs of corn flour
chocolate chips

Steps

1. Beat butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
2. Stir in plain flour and corn flour that already been sieved before added, little by little.
3. Mix in chocolate chip and stir by hand or you can also put the chocolate chip later on top of the cookies
4. Take one large spoonful onto ungreased pan and press lightly on it before put in the oven.
5. Bake for about 180°C for about 20-25 minutes (depends on your oven) or until the edges are fully brown.

Second Recipe

Ingredients

250 grams @ 1 cup of unsalted butter
80 grams @ ½ cup of caster sugar
 1 egg yolk
½ tsp vanilla essence
200 grams or 3 cups of plain flour
20 grams @ 1 tbs of corn flour
chocolate chips

Steps

1. Beat butter, sugar, egg york and vanilla essence until smooth, fluffy and creamy.

So, how? It's so easy, right? Hehe.. I often bake this cookies almost every week since it's my family's fav. Sometimes when my sisters and brother come back home, they usually ask me to bake this cookies and pack for them so that they will bring back to their house later.

What is the difference between these two recipes? Which want do you want to try? Ok, let me guide you and give some explanations. If you want to eat cookies that are more crunchy, then you can try the first recipe. However, cookies from first recipe is easy to break or a bit brittle than the second one because as you can see, the first recipe didn't use egg yolk as ingredient. Egg yolk is acting as a sticky element which help to grasp all particles together. So, if you want to bring your cookies to someplace, I suggest you to try the second one.

Alright, 'til here my entry. See you later and have fun trying this recipe. Adios~
